Alla Borisovna Pugacheva (Russian: Алла Борисовна Пугачёва). Pugachyova or Pugachova - more accurately reflecting pronunciation. Soviet and Russian pop singer, composer and songwriter, stage director, producer, actress and TV presenter. Born: April 15, 1949, Moscow, USSR. Her career started in 1965 and has continued to this day. She enjoys an iconic status across the former Soviet Union as the most successful Soviet performer in terms of record sales and popularity.
