Biography
Roots reggae artist and producer well known as 'Jesus Dread', also known as Yabby U and Yabby Yu. He grew up in the ghetto and works in aluminum foundry and quickly meet the Ethiopian World Federation, made his first recordings early 70's with [a523025] and with [a440474] as part of [a4262188], recorded his first own tune arround 1972 ([Link], which gave him his famous alias due to the chorus that had been playing as a dubplate by King Tubby for two years) but not release before 1974 with the voices of [a302041] later became [a84041]. Ran his own labels arround 1974 ([l165404], [l19681] & [l185092])... The rest is history... Roots reggae foundation ! Born 14 August 1946, in Kingston, Jamaica. Died 12 January 2010.
