Biography
Originally from Liège, Belgium Eric bought his first pair of turntables in 1994 and started touring Chicago house music and Detroit techno in local parties and clubs. His ability to get a dance floor moving developed at the legendary Montini Rave Zone in Sint-Truiden, where he started playing at the age of 19. A year later, he started producing music and learning the basics of the studio with Jean-Louis Kollash . Their first album was released in 1997 on the Antwerp label Minimalistix. It follows with several techno releases under the name "djxentrix & jlk" on Reload records - Bipolar - News - Intense records-Pornographic rec. His main asset is his sharp ear and his collection of records that he has built up over the decades has expanded and diversified to create atmospheric sets, full of soul and flavor . He worked for Audiopolis record shop and remains an unconditional fan of vinyl. Few "DJs" are able to set up an atmosphere or get a crowd moving on the dance floor like he can do ,no one can stand still. He has released tracks under several different labels including his own Kroma Recordings (2002-2006), a funky techno oriented label. His tracks have been played and promoted by many big names in the techno scene. While the market is overloaded with monotonous music, he decides to explore new horizons where he starts to express himself more freely with an emphasis on jamming and imperfections. The hypnotic and groovy side of techno is what interests him the most. He recently launched his new label NEUTRE RECORDS ( 2017 ). Through this new project, he is developing a new alias PRSPCTV. With more than two decades of experience, some sound signatures have influenced him a lot ( AXIS , UR , Indulge , Steve Rachmad , Jacques Lueder ,DVS1, Jeroen Search, Dimi Angelis, Planetary assault system , Heiko laux , James Ruskin , Surgeon , john tejada , Damon wild, Steve Bicknell , Aubrey & Solid groove label, Echoplex ,Donato Dozzy , Mark Bell , Mark Broom .....) These last ones allowed him to develop his own groove and identity as a dj and producer . A complete and discreet artist who makes people dance since 1994.
