X-Ray (November 18, 1962 - January 6, 2025) was a NYC Queens-based hip-hop producer and emcee, known to have been one of the main producers for MF Grimm & MF Doom's project, [a=Monsta Island Czars]. He was one half of [a=Darc Mind] along with MC Kev-Roc. X-Ray has worked with Dr, Dre, Rick Rubin, Public Enemy, Parliament, 3rd Bass, Theodore Shapiro, Kool DJ Red Alert, DJ Fakts One, KMD, and Panjabi MC. Former CEO of [l=Mindbenda Recordings]. X-Ray's music on the documentary feature film "On the Ropes" has won him a Sundance Film Festival Award and was nominated for a Oscar in 1999.
