X-Marks The Pedwalk was started in 1987 by [a=André Schmechta] aka [a=Sevren Ni-Arb] and his school-friend [a=Jörg Böhme] aka [a=Regan Eracs] but they used the name [a=Scarecrow] at first. André and Jörg made "Black Door" (Scarecrow), "Arbitrary Execution", "Danger/Disease Control", "Abattoir", "Freaks" and "Cenotaph" together then [a=Jörg Böhme] left the band. He was replaced by André's brother Thorsten Schmechta aka [a=Raive Yarx]. André Schmechta put aside his work on X-Marks The Pedwalk in the late 90's to concentrate on his family and career. X-Marks the Pedwalk returned in late 2009/early 2010 with a new album and single, with live shows in 2010.
