Whirr is an American shoegaze band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Formed in 2010, the group was originally known as "Whirl" but changed its name after it was trademarked by a woman performing acoustic covers of Black Sabbath songs. Whirr's sound is often compared to My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive.
