American thrash metal band from the San Francisco Bay Area formed in 1985. They disbanded in 1994 after [a=Sean Killian] retired from the band. Remaining members went on as [a=Torque (6)] from 1994-1997 with [a=Phil Demmel] taking over the vocals. Vio-Lence reunited for a small series of shows from 2001 to 2003, and reunited again in 2019. Released new material for the first time in 25+ years in 2020.
