Biography
Utah Saints are a electronic band based in Leeds, England that emerged from the group [a=MDMA (2)]. The band had a string of hit singles in the British pop charts in the 1990s, and were notable for their extensive use of sampling technology – in particular, their practice of manipulating samples from mainstream pop and rock songs and combining them with contrasting dance beats. Utah Saints have also gained a certain notoriety for the long gap between releases - their follow-up, Two (2000), came eight years after their debut (1992). 'Believe in me (DJ Tim's Bliss Mix)' is where Tim & Jez played on a Friday night in Leeds, England, at the now infamous Gallery club at a night called Bliss, this is were they built up their funky style of dj'ing, their sound, plied and crafted their trade with a loyal following of fans in Leeds, The Gallery was voted England's number 2 best club only after the Hacienda by Pete Tong And Radio One voters, Tong said he had never seen such madness in a club before! They were managed by [a=John MacLennan].
