Traitors Gate is a heavy metal band from Pontypool, Wales, that was founded as Cyron in 1979. The band changed its name twice: At first to Quest and finally to Traitors Gate. Not to be confused with two other NWOBHM bands called Traitors Gate: Traitors Gate from Fleetwood, England, that released two demos in 1983 and 1984. Traitors Gate from Weston-super-Mare, England, that was founded in 1981.
