LYRICS

I had a dream
Just the other night
And it made me want to change
The way I live my life
I've had enough
Of just walking through it
And I want to take the chance
And dice with death with you

And we stand on the cliff
As if we were protected
And I walk on the path
My mind and body connected
And I walk on the cliff
As if I was protected

And I talked it over
With my best friend
And he's had the same dream
More than once
Now it's happened again
Could be all of us
Can you feel the power?
Can you feel it rushing in
Coming golden in this hour?

And we stand on the cliff
As if we were protected
And I walk on the path
My mind and body connected
And I walk on the cliff
As if I was protected

It's another fall from grace
Everything I do becomes a fake
It's only when I'm awake
Everyone takes a fall

I don't know how I can take
Much more of this
And I feel an agonizing ignorance of bliss
But if it were true
I'd stand with you
On the cliffs of Acapulco
Staring into the blue

And we stand on the cliff
As if we were protected
And we walk on the path
Our minds and bodies connected
And we stand on the cliff
As if we were protected
As if we were protected
We must be having the time of our lives

It was only a dream
It was only a dream
We stood on the cliff
As if we were protected
By something we couldn't see
By something we couldn't touch
By something we couldn't taste
And we all were protected
