Biography
The Rapture was an American rock band based in New York City, formed 1998. Some of the members were also involved in the band [a=Carpet]. The band mixed influences from many genres including post-punk, new rave, dance-punk, acid house, disco, electronica and rock and roll. The band quietly split early 2014, reunited in 2019 without Mattie Safer.
