Biography

The Pineapple Thief is the musical vision of [a378852] (formerly with [a1568819]). He started TPT in 1999. In the spring of 2002, after the third album Variations On A Dream, Bruce decided to form a band to take his music to the fans. The band consisted of his close musical friends - former university band mate [a=Jon Sykes] on bass, [a=Wayne Higgins] on guitars, [a=Matt O'Leary] on keyboards and [a=Keith Harrison (4)] on drums. Matt has since left but [a=Steve Kitch] (who co-produced and mixed the fourth album 10 Stories Down) joined to play keyboards. Wayne Higgins left the band in March 2008, but the group continues as a four-piece live act.

LYRICS

Paroles de la chanson Rubicon par The Pineapple Thief
Don't you think you've gotta do it
Just let the horses feed where they please
The die is cast and now it's lost forever
One moment paves the ending for us all
You what have you done it's the end for us
And your cold dark heart marches on
Razed to the ground no hope to be found torn away from us
And your cold dark heart marches on
You what have you done it's the end for us
And your cold dark heart marches on
Razed to the ground no hope to be found torn away from us
And your cold dark heart marches on

The fight is over
Just a permanent defence
The legions there beside you
Not anymore in any sense
The wounds reminding
Of this necessary end
The wounds reminding
Of this necessary end
(And the die is cast)
A necessary end
(And the die is cast)
A necessary end
Look, don't you see what you've done it's the end for us
And your cold dark heart marches on
Razed to the ground no hope to be found torn away from us
But your cold dark heart marches on
