Biography
1960s-1970s soul vocal group from Chicago, Illinois. The Notations first recording from 1969 featured the members, Cliff Curry, Curtis McCormick, Carl McPhan, Brian Taylor & Lee Dees. Cliff Curry left after this recording and teamed up with LaSalle Mathews, Jimmy Stroud & Bobby Thomas kept the name The Notations (that he owned) while the remaining members became [a2160168] The original group members are Clifford Curry, LaSalle Matthews, Bobby Thomas and Jimmy Stroud (replaced by Walter Jones in 1973). Walter Jones left the band in 1976.
