Biography
The Gaylads are a Jamaican vocal group. They were one of the top rocksteady vocal groups active in Jamaica between 1963 and 1973. The group was formed around 1964 when [a795970] & [a298930] met [a523248]. Around 1970 Delano Stewart left the band for a solo career, replaced by [a511725], who will be himself replaced by [a457653] for some titles. The band finished as a duo until 1972 when BB also left for a solo career. At the end of the 1970's, BB and Maurice Roberts reformed the band with [a2735474] and [a884899] under the name of the [a565729] and then [a2707305].
