Biography
English punk band formed in 1976 in London by [a=Dave Vanian] (vocals), [a=Brian James] (guitar), [a762393] aka [a=Captain Sensible] (bass then guitar), and [a341602] aka [a=Rat Scabies] (drums). The group was the first British punk band to release a single ([Link] in 1976). They turned to a more psychedelic and gothic sound in the 1980s.
