Biography

T-ARA (Korean: 티아라; Japanese: ティアラ; often stylized as T-ara, T♔ARA, or TΛRΛ) is a South Korean girl group that debuted in 2009 under Core Contents Media, now known as MBK Entertainment, and as of 2018, all members have left MBK Entertainment. They debuted as a 5 member group, originally planning to be a ballad group, however, Jiae and Jiwon withdrew from the group sighting “differences in style”. They were replaced with Lee Qri, Park Soyeon, and Jeon Boram. T-ARA re-debuted as a six member group in July with “거짓말 (Lies)”, and are best known for hit songs such as “Bo Peep Bo Peep”, "Roly-Poly", "Lovey-Dovey", "I Go Crazy Because of You", "TTL Time To Love", and "Cry Cry". In 2021, the four lasting members of T-ARA announced that they would be reuniting to release their first album in 4 years. They later released their album "RE:T-ARA" with title tracks "TIKI TAKA" and "ALL KILL". Current Members: Qri (큐리) (Leader, Sub-vocalist) Eunjung (은정) (Main Vocalist, Lead Rapper) Hyomin (효민) (Main Rapper, Lead Vocalist, Lead Dancer) Jiyeon (지연) (Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist, Visual, Face of The Group, Maknae) Former Members: Soyeon (소연) (Main Vocalist) Boram (보람) (Sub-Vocalist) Areum (아름) (Main Rapper, Sub-vocalist) Hwayoung (화영) (Main Rapper, Sub-vocalist) Jiae (지애) (PRE-DEBUT MEMBER) Jiwon (지원) (PRE-DEBUT MEMBER) Dani (다니) (Supposed to debut with T-ARA, never did.)
