Band from Evanston, IL that draws from a wide variety of musical backgrounds. Many draw from classical training, others from a purely jazz style, but each player adds their own secret ingredient to the mix. Their sound is almost indescribable. Try mixing funk, jazz, hard rock, and an unabashed love for improvisation and rock 'n' roll - you might be halfway there. Sweet Sweet Candy was formed out of a series of house parties. The band began to fine-tune their lineup and develop their sound, moving from a funk-jam sound to a more multi-faceted assortment of musical influences.
