Sleepy Brown (real name: [a=Patrick Brown]) is an American singer-songwriter and record producer, born on January 24, 1970, in Savannah, Georgia. Best known for his work with the Atlanta-based production team [a=Organized Noize], he played a key role in shaping the sound of Southern hip-hop and R&B, contributing to hits for [a=OutKast], [a=Goodie Mob], and [a=TLC]. Brown's smooth vocals are featured on OutKast’s hit The Way You Move, and he has also released solo projects, blending funk, soul, and hip-hop influences.
