SECHSKIES, Sechs Kies, or 6kies (젝스키스) is a six-member South Korean boy band who debuted on April 15, 1997, under Daesung Entertainment (now DSP Media). One of K-pop's first highly successful boy groups, Sechskies are often credited with pioneering idol fandom culture. The group disbanded on May 20, 2000, and re-united on April 14, 2016. On May 10, 2016, they signed with YG Entertainment as a 5 member group. Sunghoon left the group on December 31st, 2018, and as of 2019, Sechskies consists of 4 members-- Jiwon, Jaijin, Jaeduck, and Suwon.
