Biography
Drummer in Houston, Texas. Weber grew up near Cleveland, Ohio. Moved to Florida in 1963. Relocated to Houston, Texas in 1977 after BSChE. While still working as a chemical engineer, he began to look for a band to play with and in 1978 joined punk group REALLY RED. Really Red collapsed in 1984. Weber played drums with CULTURCIDE in 1985. In 1986 Weber was invited to join ANARCHITEX. All during the 1980's Robert Weber was producing albums and singles and collections for C.I.A. Records in Houston. The record label continues today to produce releases by new artists from Texas and lands far and wide on compilations like The Dog That Wouldn't Die (1985 and remastered to CD version 2020), Manifestation 9 (2021), and Manifestation X (2022). In 2007 he started playing again and eventually rejoined the Anarchitex for 5 years. In 2019 he collaborated with Dr. James Craine who assumed the role of Starvation Dance Productions, and Ed Rudy who created HotBox Review (Bangkok, Thailand). The collaboration produced a compilation "Teaching You The Fear...Again" as a tribute to Really Red. Since then he has been supplying drum tracks and producing The POPEBOY COLLECTIVE. Weber's most recent release is an improvised/experimental album with a group titled, INFREQUENCIES.
