[b]Rita Sahatçiu Ora[/b], born 26 November 1990 in Pristina, SFR Yugoslavia (now Kosovo), is a British singer, songwriter and actress of Kosovar Albanian descent. Her debut studio album, [i][Link][/i] (2012), debuted at number one in the United Kingdom, and spawned the number-one singles "[Link]" and "[Link]". After reaching the peak position as a featured act on [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/23096-Fresh]DJ Fresh[/url]'s "[Link]", Ora became the artist with the most number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart in 2012. In 2014, she released "[Link]", intended to be the lead single from her second studio album, scheduled to be released in 2015. However, in December 2015, Ora filed a lawsuit against [l286913], citing that the contract she signed in 2008 was "unenforceable", due to California's "seven-year rule." Although Roc Nation filed a counter-lawsuit against Ora for breaking her recording contract, in January 2016, they reached a settlement in May 2016 and Ora was released from her contract. In June 2016, she signed a record deal with Atlantic Records. The debut single from her second studio album, [Link], was released on 26 May 2017.
