Quarterflash is an American rock group formed in Portland, Oregon, originally called [a=Seafood Mama]. A year later they were signed by [l=Geffen Records] and changed the group name to Quarterflash. The name comes from an Australian colloquialism, "a quarter flash and three parts foolish."
