Biography

He is a Chilean rapper, singer and composer of Angolan descent, considered one of the most relevant trap singers in Chile. He took the first steps of his musical career in 2015, however, it would not be until 2018 that his professional career would take a turn with the release of the single "Brokeboi", which became an anthem for the Brokeboyz movement (a fast and carefree life), which he formed along with other musicians of the urban scene. Later, together with artists [a4815266] and [a7105307], he released the song "Te quiero ver", which has more than 50 million plays on Spotify. In 2019 Polimá signed with [l25487] label and released the album Eqilibrio (in duet with [a7105307]), which led him to explore different musical terrains. That same year he released the single "MY BLOOD" together with Chilean urban artist [a6902653]. Polimá also performed with resounding success at the 2019 edition of Lollapalooza Chile, and subsequently toured the country extensively. In 2020 he released the single "Run Run Stop" with Argentine artist [a5798997], and in October 2021 he released "Bon Voyage" with Spanish actor [a11709704]. On February 15, 2022, he releases the single "Ultra solo" with Chilean artist [a11393072], the latter was a hit on digital platforms such as Spotify, in which he collects more than 200 million plays. On June 27, 2022, his song "Ultra solo", which he recorded in collaboration with [a11393072], was included in the Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S., occupying the number 9 position. On June 16, 2022, the remix of "Ultra solo" is released, which includes the new participation of [a7047319], [a5319746] and [a969142], with considerable success. He has stood out for being the opening act for [a256399]'s concerts in Santiago de Chile in 2022. He performed at the LXII Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar in February 2023.
