Biography

PinkPantheress is an English singer, songwriter, and producer known for her genre-defying blend of alt-pop, drum and bass, and 2-step garage. Born Victoria Beverley Walker in Bath, Somerset, she began producing music on GarageBand while at university in London. She rose to prominence in 2021 with her debut mixtape [Link], featuring viral tracks like “Just for Me” and “Pain.” In 2022, PinkPantheress won BBC’s Sound of 2022 poll and released her EP [Link]. Her single “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” featuring [a12211966] became a hit, charting in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100. In 2023, she released her debut album [Link], continuing to expand her sound with collaborations from artists like [a4859364] and [a12211966]. LYRICS

La-la-la
It's eight o'clock in the morning, now I'm entering my bed
Had a few dreams about you, I can't tell you what we did
I expected to see ya on your morning run again
I know I shouldn't be watching 'cause every time I feel the pain
La, la-la-la-la, la-la
La-la, la-la, la-la
La, la-la-la-la, la-la
La-la, la-la, la-la

You told me it wasn't over and that we'd be together soon
But was this before or after you told me to leave your room?
I used to think we'd make it far, it turned out that we are
It's such a shame that we weren't the same at all
La, la-la-la-la, la-la
La-la, la-la, la-la
La, la-la-la-la, la-la
La-la, la-la, la-la
La, la-la-la-la, la-la
La-la, la-la, la-la
La, la-la-la-la, la-la
La-la, la-la, la-la

La, la-la-la-la, la-la
La-la, la-la, la-la
La, la-la-la-la, la-la (Hey)
La-la, la-la, la-la (Oh yeah)
La, la-la-la-la, la-la
La-la, la-la, la-la
La, la-la-la-la, la-la
La-la, la-la, la-la
