American R&B/Soul Singer, Songwriter, Record producer and Manager. Born August 29, 1964 in Oakland, California, USA. Cousin of R&B singer [a=Cherrelle]. Formerly married to Businessman [a=George L. Smith] and Producer/Record Executive [a=L.A. Reid]. She was a R&B and Soul star who released three original albums and several successful singles in the late '80s and early '90s and also founded and managed group [a=TLC]. After a lack of hits and legal battles with [a=TLC] and her former producer/husband [a=L.A. Reid] she became a born-again Christian and founded the Women Of God Changing Lives ministry. She now goes by the moniker Sister Perri. Associated with Production/Management company [a=Pebbitone Inc]/[l=Pebbitone Inc.] and Music Publishers [l=Pebbitone Music] and [l=Pebbitone Five Fifty Five Music].
