Biography

Otto Ohm are an italian band. The band was formed in 1997 from an idea of ​​Andrea Vincenzo Leuzzi (aka "Bove) that with Fabrizio De Angelis, began playing in an homemade studio, with the advice of Fabrizio Bacherini. Simultaneously aggregated more friends as: Daniela Mariani and Stefano Bari. At that time Bacherini founded a label with Andrea Marotti, the Casa di Cura, for the production of the newborn group of Otto Ohm, although after their story changed with the involvement of the band Stephen Senardi, historical recorder, which led the group with him on his journeys. In 2000 they released their first single, Crepuscolaria, getting a good success in radio circuits and in October of the same year released the debut album "Otto Ohm". In the same year they turned "Bimba è clonata una stella" a short film by Sabina Guzzanti choosing them also to realize part of the soundtrack. They was candidates to P.I.M. (Premio Musica Italiana) as best emerging band. In 2003 released the album Pseudostereo with singles "Fumodenso" and "Oro Nero". During the MEI 2004 they was awarded for the realization of some of their videos. In 2005 the single "Domani" anticipates the album "Naif" product by the label Radiofandango. Also on this occasion was awarded to MEI for the making of the video of Domani. In 2007, Otto Ohm collaborated with Daniele Silvestri for his single "A Me Ricordi Il Mare". In September 2009, was transmitted by the italian radioes the single "Come Parlo Di Te" that anticipates the release of their fourth album "Combo" in October, produced by their new label Little Stuff. In November 2011 they released their fifth album Ohm Made - Live in studio, a double CD of 25 tracks, all rearrangements of their previous work, except the single "Disco Tristo". In January 2015 they announced the imminent publication of the new album Boxer.
