Biography

American new wave band formed by songwriter Danny Elfman in 1979. The band emerged from a surrealist musical theatre troupe, The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, that Elfman had led since 1976 and written material for in the years previous. Oingo Boingo were known for their high energy live concerts and experimental music, which can be described as mixing rock, ska, pop, and world music. The band's body of work spanned 17 years, with various genre and line-up changes. As a rock band, Oingo Boingo started as a ska and punk-influenced new wave octet, achieving significant popularity in Southern California. During the mid-1980s, the band changed line-ups, and adopted a more pop-oriented style, until a significant genre change to alternative rock in 1994. At that point, the name was shortened to simply "Boingo" and the horn section was dropped. The band retired after a farewell tour in 1995, for which they reverted to the name Oingo Boingo and readopted the horn section. LYRICS

I love little girls; they make me feel so good.
I love little girls; they make me feel so bad.
When they’re around they make feel like I’m the only guy in town.
I love little girls; they make me feel so good.
They don’t care if I’m a one-way mirror.
They’re not frightened by my cold exterior.

They don’t ask me questions.
They don’t want the story.
They don’t look for answers.
They just want to hold me.

Isn’t this fun?
This is just what life’s all about.
This is just a dream come true.
Isn’t this a nightmare too?

Oh! I-I-I love little girls; they make me feel so good.
I love little girls; they make me feel so bad.
When they’re around they make feel like I’m the only guy in town.
I love little girls; they make me feel so good.

They don’t care about my intonations.
They’re not frightened by my revelations.

Uh oh (uh oh), take a second-take (take a second-take).
Uh oh (uh oh), it’s a mistake (it’s a mistake).
Uh oh (uh oh), I’m in trouble (I’m in trouble).
Uh oh (uh oh), the little girl was just too little, too little, too little, too little, too little!

This is just what life’s all about.
This is just a dream come true.
This is just a nightmare too!

Oh-oh!
And I don’t care what people say.
And I don’t care what people think.
And I don’t care how we look walking down my street

[Instrumental]… they make me feel so … [Instrumental].
I love little girls …[Instrumental].

They don’t care if I’m a one-way mirror.
They don’t care about my old exterior.

They don’t (they don’t) ask me questions (ask me questions).
They don’t (they don’t) want to scold me (want to scold me).
They don’t (they don’t) look for answers (look for answers).
They just (they just) want to hold me (want to hold me).
Uh oh (uh oh), I’m in trouble (I’m in trouble).
Uh oh (uh oh), the little girl was just too little, too little, too little, too little, too little, too little, too little, too little, too little!

This is just what life’s all about.
Isn’t this a dream come true?
Isn’t this a nightmare too?

Oh-oh!
I love little girls; they make me feel so good.
I love little girls; they make me feel so bad.
When they’re around they make feel like I’m the only guy in town.
I love little girls; they make me feel so good.

I love!
