Folk rock band from Twickenham, London, England. Formed in 2006. [a=Charlie Fink] - Vocals & Guitar [a=Doug Fink] - Drums [a=Tom Hobden] - Fiddle [a=Urby Whale] - Bass [a=Laura Marling] and [a=Emmy The Great] were also members before going solo, though both continue to perform with the band. The band name is a marriage of the title of one of the band's favourite films, [i]The Squid And The Whale[/i], and the name of the film's director Noah Baumbach.
