Biography

Rock band from Aberdeen, Washington, USA, formed in 1987. Emerging from the Seattle grunge scene of the late 1980s/early 1990s, Nirvana was a power trio of musicians who brought a new aesthetic to the rock scene of the time. They had already released their debut LP "[Link]" with Sub Pop, but their 1991 major-label debut for [l=DGC]/[l=Geffen Records], "[Link]" broke the band and grunge into the mainstream of America. Singer/guitarist [a=Kurt Cobain]'s death by suicide in April 1994 brought the band to an end. LYRICS

It's so relieving to know that you're leaving as soon as you get paid
It's so relaxing to hear you're asking wherever you get your way
I's so soothing to know that you'll sue me
This is starting to sound the same
I miss the comfort in being sad

In her false withness, we hope you're still with us
To see if they gloar or drown
Our favorite paitent, A display of patience,
Disease-covered Puget Sound
She'll come back as fire, to burn all the liars,
And leave a blanket of ash on the ground
