This is for the San Francisco punk band. Fronted by [a941509] with fellow singers [a223295] & [a223293] the Mutants were formed in 1977 by seven SF art school students. They found inspiration in the punk rock scene as well as Andy Warhol's Factory, [a483088]' Dreamlanders, and SF's glitter-and-makeup adorned performance art troupe, [a4733494].
