Motionless in White is a gothic metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania, formed in 2005. They are known for blending industrial and horror-inspired elements with theatrical visuals and dark imagery in their performances. Shortly after forming, the band independently released a demo, followed by their debut EP The Whorror in 2007, which helped build a local following and define their early sound. Over the years, their music has incorporated more melodic, industrial, and electronic elements while retaining their gothic metalcore roots, making them a significant influence on contemporary gothic and industrial-tinged metalcore acts.
