Californian hard rock band from the 1970's, based around founding member [a=Ronnie Montrose]. They released 4 full albums in the 1970's and had some band member replacements in between 2 of these. Ronnie Montrose formed a new lineup of Montrose in 1987 which released one album, Mean (1987).
