American country singer / songwriter and guitarist, born February 12, 1944 in Meridian, Mississippi; raised in San Antonio, Texas. Played in his father's band, The Mission City Playboys; also worked as a rodeo rider. Was a regular on the local San Antonio TV show "Country Corner" in 1973. Started his own theater in Branson, Missouri.
