Biography

Mobb Deep was an American hip-hop duo from Queens, New York, formed in 1992 by [a=Havoc (3)] and [a=Prodigy]. Known for their raw lyricism and dark, gritty production, they became influential figures in East Coast hip-hop. Their 1995 album The Infamous is considered a landmark release in the genre. The duo remained active until Prodigy’s passing in 2017. Longtime collaborator [a=Big Noyd], who frequently appeared on their albums, has supported Havoc on tour and continues to help keep Mobb Deep’s legacy alive.
