Mel London (b. April 9, 1932 (Mississippi, USA) d. May 16, 1975 (Chicago, IL, USA)), american songwriter, record producer, and record label owner, (best known for his Chicago label [l396319] and subsidiaries). He was active in the Chicago blues and R&B scenes in the 1950s and '60s where he wrote songs for [a=Howlin' Wolf], [a=Muddy Waters], [a=Elmore James], and [a=Junior Wells].
