Mario Fernández Porta (b. Guanabacoa, Havana, Cuba 1917 - d. Miami , Fla, USA, 1996). Cuban songwriter, pianist, vocalist. Songwriter of "Que Me Importa", "Mentiras Tuyas" y "No Vuelvo Contigo", among other songs of success. Mario Fernández Porta was born in Guanabacoa, Havana, on December 17, 1917. At the age of five he was able to play the piano melodies he listened to. He never conducted formal studies of the instrument. He died in Miami on December 13, 1996
