German musician, born September 9, 1952 in Berlin; died December 4, 2022 in Berlin. Göttsching was hugely influencial with his [url=https://www.discogs.com/master/2786-Manuel-G%C3%B6ttsching-E2-E4]E2-E4[/url] album (recorded 1981, released 1984) and as a Krautrock guitarist. He had started his career in music at a young age, with various Berlin pop and blues bands in the late 1960s, including the Steeple Chase Bluesband. He became the mainstay of [a49644] and [a49639], and also worked with [a222379], and other [url=https://www.discogs.com/label/418826-Die-Kosmischen-Kuriere]Kosmische Kuriere[/url] projects. In 1976 he established a project together with [a95871], and on numerous occasions he also played as a guest/collaborator along with Klaus Schulze.
