Brazilian percussionist. When young he met [a=Elizeu] and Nilton Delfino Marçal ([a=Mestre Marçal], with whom he formed the Trio de Ouro, a percussion trio present on almost all greatest brazilian recordings from 50s to 80s: they played with Cartola, MPB4, Ney Matogrosso, Clementina de Jesus, Monarco, Paulinho da Viola, Chico Buarque, Quarteto em Cy, Beth Carvalho, Raul de Barros, João Nogueira, Simone, Ary Barroso...
