Biography
Lovelyz was an eight-member South Korean girl group which was formed in 2014 by Woollim Entertainment. During 7 years, the band was one of the most estimated and respected girls groups of South Korea, even if its failed to attempt Woollim commercial ambitions. Their graceful and romantic universe became year after year deeper, more poetic and academic. The end of their career was particularly regretted, as their agency was entirely responsible of many bad strategies about Lovelyz promotion, including the cancelling of a final comeback which should have been released in july 2021. The group members were Baby Soul, Jiae, Jisoo, Mijoo, Kei, Jin, Sujeong and Yein. On 1st november 2021, it was announced that contract between Lovelyz members and Woollim Entertainment won't be renewed. On 16th november 2021, 7th anniversary of the band, Lovelyz project has been definitively closed by Woolim. Except Baby Soul, all girls have left Woollim agency. Mijoo and Jisoo have also left musical industry to focus on TV and acting activities.
