Lorien Testard is a French composer and sound designer, formerly a music teacher, now primarily active in the video game industry. He began by regularly publishing compositions on SoundCloud, eventually creating over 50 pieces in a year. He was discovered by Guillaume Broche, the creative director of Sandfall Interactive, through an indie game development forum. Shortly after, he was hired to compose the soundtrack for the game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, marking his official debut in the video game industry. Testard’s musical style blends influences from French classical music and video game soundtracks such as Zelda or Xenoblade, creating a variety of immersive and emotionally rich soundscapes.
