American band from Long Beach, California, who play a mixture of punk rock, reggae, dub, ska and hip hop. Founded in 1997 by surviving members of [a=Sublime (2)] with friends, they stopped in 2002. Some members formed [a694601] (with musicians from [a1517128], [a990045], [a675066] or [a910168]), others formed [a=Dubcat] (with members of [a=Hepcat]). LBDA reformed in 2012.
