Biography

Leon Thomas (born October 4, 1937 – died May 8, 1999) was an American jazz singer, who made his mark in 1969, singing "The Creator Has a Master Plan" with [a21147] and showing that even avant-garde jazz can become popular under some circumstances. A fairly conventional singer, the most unusual aspect to Thomas was that he often broke out into yodelling in the middle of a vocal, a device since utilized occasionally by [a120620]. He also appeared as a sideman in many situations, including on a [a38201] 1970 record and with [a79340] (who he worked with in 1973-1974). Thomas died of heart failure on May 8, 1999 .

LYRICS

I can't wash you out my brain, like the stain on my favorite jeans
Yeah, I said, "I need space," you said, "Nigga, what's that mean?"
It's been months since you've been my main, you even left your flat-screen
So dramatic, you treat life like a movie scene
Getting mad over everything
You left a part of you in my living room
You left your favorite shirt in my closet
I played the game, and you made a move
It's not a breakup, we just paused it

But you keep coming back
Keep you coming, you're my lucid dream
Keep you coming back
You keep coming, you're my lucid dream
Keep you coming back
Keep you coming, you're my lucid dream
Keep you coming back
Keep you coming, you're my lucid dream

I, I, I still smell your pheromones
Echoing, I still hear your moans from the late night
In the kitchen I get visions of our engage once I'm alone
Burning incense, reminiscing 'bout the image in my living room
Burning incense thinking 'bout your intentions
All these instruments, things I play to your presence
I need a bit of advisement, I need a new game plan
If you're gon' stick around, please tell me my program

You left a part of you in my living room
Yeah, uh-huh
You left your favorite shirt in my closet
Oh, I played the game, and you made a move
Uh, yeah-yeah
It's not a breakup, we just paused it

But you keep coming back
Keep you coming, you're my lucid dream
Keep you coming back
You keep coming, you're my lucid dream
Keep you coming back
Keep you coming, you're my lucid dream
Keep you coming back
Keep you coming, you're my lucid dream
