Leah Kalmenson (born September 9, 1992 in Los Angeles, CA), known professionally as Leah Kate, is an American singer and songwriter. Kate released her first extended play, Impulse, in June 2019, followed by What Just Happened? in 2021. In 2022, she released her hit single "10 Things I Hate About You", which hit the charts in Australia and the UK. She followed it with her single "Twinkle Twinkle Little Bitch" which has been widely criticized and named as one of "the worst songs of all time" by Rolling Stone. Months later she would release her third EP Alive and Unwell, and would embark on her first headline tour. Her debut album, Super Over, was released on September 15 2023. Kate has toured as an opening act for artists such as Madison Beer, Chase Atlantic, Anne-Marie, Jess Glynne, and Hayley Kiyoko.
