American soul singer. Born on September 7th 1939 in Charleston, Tennessee (USA). Latimore's first professional experience came as a pianist for various Florida-based groups including [a=Joe Henderson] and [a=Steve Alaimo] before securing a contract with the [l=Dade Records (2)] and [l=Glades] labels of Florida under the name Benny Latimore. He signed with [l=Malaco Records] in 1982 and released 7 modern soul albums.
