LYRICS

I've been on the ugly corner all my damn life, every day a tragedy
The streets done took over, ain't nothin' nice, I can't even master peace
I've been on the ugly corner all my damn life, every day a tragedy
The streets done took over, ain't nothin' nice, I can't even master peace
I can't even master peace
I can't even master
I can't even master peace

They know they was destined, why they mad at a G?
I gave it all I got, this shit ain't happen for free
Came a long way from the block, look what I happen to be
Kept it real with all my niggas, look what happened to me
They thought I was goin' crazy, keep the strap on the seat
They thought I was gon' sign with Baby or Master P
When I got my first .380 I was happy for weeks
I remember gettin' faded, tryna balance the heat
I remember I kept fuckin' up the re-up
Made me jump out with the mop, I had to clean up
Leave a stain for some rank 'cause we young niggas
Catch a body 'cause we childish and young niggas

I've been on the ugly corner all my damn life, every day a tragedy
The streets done took over, ain't nothin' nice, I can't even master peace

I can't even master

Niggas on that don shit, I'm tryna run shit (Tryna run shit)
Now, my flow a masterpiece, I'm one of one (One of one)
Project Picasso, I'm from the slums (From the slums)
Blood red, I paint the city with my gun (Paint the city with my gun)
Hood art dealer sellin' P like a van Gough
Crazy how much work we can cook up in this bando
Block Beethoven, play with keys like pianos
Hop out with these switches, get to tweakin' like I'm Rambo (Duh-duh)
Say they like the way I put the choir on this trap shit (On this trap)
Ghetto gospel, I got them singin' in the trap
Say it powerful how I put Jesus in my rap
Send yo' ass to meet 'em, get to squeezin' on this strap
There's roaches and rats, ain't no peace up in this trenches
Every piece I got come with switches and extensions
I'm tryn' make a masterpiece, I'm tryn' go Divinci
But I can't even master peace I'm stressed for real

I've been on the ugly corner all my damn life, every day a tragedy
The streets done took over, ain't nothin' nice, I can't even master peace
I've been on the ugly corner all my damn life, every day a tragedy
The streets done took over, ain't nothin' nice, I can't even master peace

I can't even master peace
I can't even master
I can't even master peace
I can't even master
I can't even master peace
I can't even

We was off the porch, we was deep in these streets
Late-night fist fights, rockin' niggas to sleep
Stuck off in the struggle, we was in too deep
Knew we'd make it out, we just had to believe

I can't master
I can't even master peace
I can't even master
