Norwegian singer, cabaret artist, actress, lyricist, and composer, born December 9, 1956 in Svolvær in Lofoten in northern Norway. She has got a Master of Arts from the University in Oslo. She was inducted into the Rockheim Hall of Fame in 2018. She has released a large number of albums, partly herself, partly together with her brothers or other partners. The music spans folk music, pop, rock, jazz and hymns. Some of the texts, to both her and her brothers, are written by the father Ole H. Bremnes from Kvæfjorden. She is the daughter of [a801718], sister of [a507551] and [a507555].
