Julius Bockelt is a visual artist, performer and musician from Frankfurt/Main, Germany. In his work he deals with phenomena of nature and physics. He observes, recreates and tries to capture the mostly ephemeral processes and to understand them in his artistic work: He draws vibrations, observes and archives cloud formations, preserves soap bubbles and works with experimental photography. The origin of his artistic practice lies in music, more precisely in the superimposition of sounds and the resulting vibrations and interferences.
