LYRICS

You dyed your hair this year
You didn't like the color
Looked the same to me

The same, but only darker

You cut your hair last year

I find it makes you taller

And your face looks smooth

You really do look younger

And you envied me once truly

For my youth and all my beauty

It was nice of you to tell me

Oh I wonder why you told me

And I wish you would've seen me more

In the letter you sent me once

You wrote of all you'd seen and done

Said that you quite missed me

Me, I grew my hair out

And the dye is almost gone now

But I've grown too much since then

And you think my youth is gone

But said that's good and bad

Though this makes me kind of sad

It was nice of you to tell me

Oh I wonder why you told me?

But I wish you would have left me alone
