Biography

Cuban born and United States-based multidisciplinary designer and professional photographer. He studied software development and has worked on IT for most of his professional life, while at the same time self-taught himself as a graphic designer and photographer, until dabbling with digital manipulation software became his natural element. Besides building and managing web design projects or develop digital products, he is also a photo-journalist for online publications like Metal Injection, Bravewords, Sonic Perspectives and Made In Metal; and a published author in prestigious printed magazines like Louder and Classic Rock. Joel's photos and designs have graced album artworks and booklets for artists like Mike Portnoy, Neal Morse, Flying Colors, Spock's Beard, Rikard Sjöblom's Gungfly, Haken, Nick D'Virgilio, Flotsam and Jetsam, Änglagård, Eric Gillete, In Continuum, Flor De Loto, Stratopheerius and several others.
