Joe Diffie (born December 28, 1958), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. Raised in Velma, Oklahoma, (died March 29, 2020), Nashville, Tennessee, USA of complications related to COVID-19. Was an American country music singer and guitarist. Worked in a foundry while playing local clubs in Oklahoma. Moved to Nashville in 1986 to work for Gibson Guitars. Signed to EPIC Records in 1990.
